I have worked in Local Authority settings and in the field of Safeguarding for over twenty years, qualifying as a Social Worker in 2003. Since this time, I have had extensive experience in safeguarding (children's services and education), child protection, assessments, court work (private and care proceedings), crisis intervention, LAC and   adoption. This includes Risk assessments, Parenting, PAMS, AIM, RAMP, SERAF, Viability, Connected Persons, Special Guardianship Orders and Sibling Attachment Assessments.

I have completed assessments in cases involving a broad range of complex risk factors, including:

• Drug and alcohol misuse
• Learning difficulties

I'm a qualified and experienced Practice Teacher and also a Safeguarding Trainer with experience in completing independent and in house investigations against professionals. I am JIT and ABE trained.

I have extensive experience of coaching and mentoring and can offer individual sessions to support you in your own personal or/and professional journey.
